Oladoc Verified Review (4.9/5 ⭐)
"Dr. Wasif Iqbal is an exceptional neonatologist. We contacted him from the UK via WhatsApp for our newborn's jaundice. His advice was professional, calm, and saved us an expensive hospital visit. Highly recommended for Overseas Pakistanis!" — Sarah Ahmed (London)

How does an online pediatric consultation work?
It is simple! You can book via WhatsApp, Oladoc, or Marham. For WhatsApp, just send a message, share your child's symptoms, and send a screenshot of the payment (EasyPaisa/JazzCash). Dr. Wasif will connect with you via video call within 5-10 minutes.
Can a video call replace a physical clinic visit?
For about 80% of common childhood illnesses (like flu, skin rashes, nutrition advice, and colic), a video consultation is highly effective. Dr. Wasif will assess your child visually during the call.
If he determines that a physical examination or emergency care is necessary, he will guide you to visit him at his clinics: IDC (Susan Road), Hajra Karim Hospital (Batala Colony), or Mujahid Hospital (Madina Town). If you are an overseas patient, he will provide immediate guidance on how to seek the right level of care in your local area.
Will I get a proper medical prescription?
Yes. After every consultation, you will receive a verified digital prescription on WhatsApp or your booking app. This prescription is valid at all major pharmacies and includes medicine dosages and follow-up instructions.
Is Dr. Wasif Iqbal a certified specialist?
Absolutely. Dr. Wasif is an FCPS (Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan) in Pediatrics and Neonatology. He also holds a PGPN (USA) in Pediatric Nutrition, making him uniquely qualified to handle both sickness and growth-related issues.
What if I need to show lab reports later?
Follow-up for report reviews is easy. You can send the lab results directly to our WhatsApp, and Dr. Wasif will review them and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
What should I do in case of a medical emergency?
Online consultations are for non-emergency conditions only. If your child is struggling to breathe, has a very high fever that won’t drop, or is unresponsive, please skip the video call and head immediately to the Emergency Room (ER) at Mujahid Hospital or the nearest hospital. For non-emergencies, Dr. Wasif is available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily
Can I consult in Urdu or Punjabi?
Yes, absolutely. One of the biggest advantages for the Pakistani Diaspora (Overseas Pakistanis) is the ability to discuss their child’s health in their native language. Dr. Wasif is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, ensuring that parents can explain symptoms clearly and understand the treatment plan without any language barrier.
Are the medicines prescribed available globally?
When consulting with Overseas Pakistani patients (UK, UAE, USA, etc.), Dr. Wasif focuses on prescribing generic salt names or internationally recognized brands. This ensures that you can easily find the required medication at your local pharmacy in any country. For patients in Pakistan, he prescribes brands that are readily available at all major medical stores.
Do I have to pay again for a follow-up visit?
If Dr. Wasif asks you to share a lab report or a progress update (like a photo of a healing rash) within 48 to 72 hours of your initial consultation, there is usually no extra charge for a quick review via WhatsApp. For new symptoms or a consultation after several days, a new booking is required to ensure a thorough medical review.
What happens if the video call gets disconnected?
Don't worry! Technical issues or internet drops in Pakistan are common. If your WhatsApp or Google Meet call is interrupted, Dr. Wasif or his team will immediately attempt to reconnect with you. If the internet remains unstable, the consultation can be completed via a standard GSM phone call to ensure your child receives the necessary medical advice without delay.
